Construction management consulting is a general term for various types of management consulting (management) related to construction projects.
In Japan, construction management can be broadly divided into PM (project management) and CM (construction management). In this context, projects are managed mainly from the perspective of cost, process, quality, information, and risk.
In Japan, the management of construction projects has been carried out by the client, designer, and contractor.
In recent years, however, there has been a rapid increase in the number of projects in which companies specializing in PM and CM services, as well as cost consulting companies specializing in cost management, have developed management services on behalf of the client from a standpoint completely independent of the designers and constructors.
